To start Diet Sleuth, double click on the Diet Sleuth icon. The program will start up, and as this is the first time you've used it, it will create a blank logbook and other necessary files for you.
Since you haven't registered it yet, you'll get a window with information about Diet Sleuth and how to register it, and a summary of the number of days you've used Diet Sleuth, and how many days you have left in your 30 day trial period. You can click on the underlined red text to have your web browser go to the Diet Sleuth web site (where you can check for newer versions of Diet Sleuth). If you click on the blue button, your browser will be sent to the Diet Sleuth registration page. Click anywhere else to dismiss this window, and go on to the program.
You'll now see the Diet Sleuth Food Manager window. You can use the Window menu to make any of the various Diet Sleuth windows active.
